Wilderness weekend?

Anyone going out in the wild this weekend? I'm heading out lake trout fishing tommorrow morning, just a little lake usually good for a limit of 2 trout though. avrg. about 1.5-2 lbs.YUMMY :P

I'm dragging the shack out tomorrow to try and get a feed of walleye and perch. The kids have been bugging to go fishing all Christmas holidays so tomorrow's the day!

I will be stayin' home bound this weekend. It's supposed to hit -33 this weekend...Too cold to go quadding and camping...so I will be here. :D

Me too Warden :( .Had planned a trip this weekend to do some quading and ice fishing but that's too cold.Could just sit in the wall tent with the wood stove pumping out the heat and drinking a few but that gets old after awhile.I don't have a fishing tent so that makes fishing a little too cold for me.

To cold to do much....-39C..... but helped the grandchildren and kids get away towards home.....but managed to pick up some new sights for my bow from Archer's Den ,,,, so I guess I will play around with that this weekend.....

Well i'm back from fishing. We did pretty good we ended up with 6 or 7 lakers, nothing real big. One 3 pounder wich pretty decent for that little lake. Never realized how col it is out there in the west. Only -2 c. right now. Oh and about 2 feet of friggin snow on the ground. :lol:

We didn't have much luck out fishing. Too cold even in the shack. The 4 kids kept running in and out of the shack and with it around -30 it took forever to warm up. Caught 1 walleye, 1 slough shark and 1 moria. Not great for 2 days of fishing. The kids had fun though.
