A CWD positive mule deer was found southeast of Oyen, alberta. Alberta fish and wildlife are harvesting 50 deer from the immediate area and is probably going to allocate much more tags than usual for the area bordering the saskatchewan. What do you guys think are these good precationary measures and would you pick up a tag? Personally i think its wise and i would take a tag in the area. All heads are to be tested after harvesting.

If you're in the area or have access to the area and want to help with the investigation of harvested animals then I would say go for it, but if you're banking on that deer to be your food source I would be prepared to accept you may nothing more than a few pics and a memory of that hunt.
