Anyone for Bear

So are any of you guys bear hunters and will you be heading out in the spring? I can't wait to get out and try to get my first bow bear, should have had him in the fall but I have a nice one 20 yards posing for me and I hadn't got around to picking up my tag so he was free to go, at least on that occasion.

Yes i spring Bear hunt every year, we have really success with bait's we were go!!! We can also use the supplemental tag in this zone and out of the 6 of us last year we harvested 9 decent Bear's no monster's but had a blast and what a way to get rid of the winter blue's and get back in the stand's!!! Good luck Sir i hope you connect on your first archery Bear!!!

I am heading out with cdnarcher for bear for the first time this year. It should be interesting. I might have to shoot cdnarcher...seeing as how he looks like a bear anyway :lol: :lol: :lol:

I've got a trip planned to hunt in the Kamloops area this spring.I freind of mine there has excellent success on the bears and they get some big ones.

:( it's been a shame here in ONT we can't spring bear hunt anymore thanks to our political ##$% in parliament southerners telling northerners how to live ... it will be nice IF they reinstate it... it was fun hunting in the spring just to get that itch out of the system. we used to use day old doughnuts in 45 gal drum with a stand seen some big bruins only got three biggest was 315 # dressed was wighed on the butchers scale i was impressed didn't look that big

This will be my first year hunting bush pigs with my bow - I have got a few with my .338 but never tried with a bow yet, a little unsure of myself, going to give them hell come spring though! Can't wait

I have never hunted bears but am thinking of going this spring. Getting the itch already and hunting season hasn't even closed for a month yet!
