I primarily hunt with my bow. I like the fact that the woods are, for the most part empty and I can hunt all day and not see anyone else. Being a bowhunter has made me a much better hunter because you have to get to know the animals you are hunting. In the late season when I finally break down and take my rifle out it is a lot easier to harvest game for the freezer, I've already spent 2 months out in the bush and know where the game is.

T-Man first one to understand that topic.I hunt with a tradbow, compound and muzzleloader in both style .Bowhunting is more like a religion.

I live by it ,sleep by it,respect nature in all ways.Even pick-up garbage left by other (hunter...) Don't take questionnably shot at animals.Practice shooting almost every day.even in winter. Prepare my next hunting season even when this one is not finish.

Bow hunting is a way of living.

I bowhunt and rifle hunt I enjoy bowhunting more and spend alot of time bowhunting. Like T-man said there are very few hunters around in bow only season and during the early season in Alberta none of the animals have heard gunshots and don't spook as easily as they do later in the year.

:D I consider myself a bowhunter and archer , and have been fortunate enough to find success in both venues.
The minute the rifle season ends and the archery season starts the woods are quiet , serene and life seems to come out of hiding .

I have to say i truly love them all. Cant get enough of either one but if I had to choose between the different styles of hunting I would choose archery. In my eyes it is 100% fairchase and thats the bottom line....
