OK I was just watching the news and they had a story on Bush is looking at changing the dates of when Daylight saving time would start and finish as a way too save energy.. He is looking at starting it a month earlyer and lasting a month longer so that would take it too the end of November.... And as we know if they do it then we would follow rite behind....
My first thought was how would this affect hunting season?????? I think it would help what do you all think????

I would just mean if you lived on the western edge of your time zone daylight would not be tell around 9 am so you can sleep in. It sure would be the pits for someone working outside how needs daylight.

Do,t much matter to me much as in the winter I drive to and from work in the dark. It would be nice to have that extra hour in the afternoon when I skip outta work for hunting though.

That sucks, if it goes one month earlier then it gets dark at around 4-5 pm and lasts til about March....that will cost more in Electricity and home fuel..That is nuts!!!!!!!

I heard that Saskatchewan has never adopted the time change because of farmer uproars.
Apparently they didn't like the idea of an extra hour of sunlight on their crops because they'd dry out even faster! :teehee:
Seriously though, I've never seen a deer wearing a watch yet, so the impact on them is negligible. It would simply force you to get up earlier (which isn't too early in November anyways) and you would be able to get home in time for dinner each night.
WAIT!
That's a horrible idea!

Bad idea Ilike evenig hunting better. And how about every one who has to get up to go to work in the morning and get out and l hr to hunt. My theroy is in the morning they are more cautious as the sun is rising. I think(in my opinion that deer are more comfortable inlow light and as it is getting dark.....they are not as up tight!!!!!!
