Who all is heading to Regina this weekend for the Provincial shoot? I'm going down after work in the morning, then shooting Saturday and heading home as soon as I get done. Should be lots of driving, but I hate to miss a tournement if I have the weekend off.
Looks like we should get good weather, and I hear Wascana puts on good outdoor shoots so it should be a fun weekend!
Good luck to anyone going, see you there!

Thanks Shane, I didn't shoot it up I stunk it up real bad. :barf:
Mostly excuses, but I had to make some changes to my bow the night I got to Regina and when I went to sight my bow in, the tips kept pulling out of those GoldTips. I pulled all 4 tips out of the 4 arrows I took to the targets, and I still wasn't sure on my left/right but I had gotten my pins set good for yardage. I figured I better call it a day before I didn't have any arrows left for the shoot. I took 2 shots Saturday morning and the tip pulled off on the second shot, so that was 5 out of the dozen arrows that I had taken down with me and I was scared that I would run out if the tips continued coming out in the targets. I shot way right all of the first round, I 5'd the first one and missed the next one before I realized what it was. I started holding to the left, and I never got any more 5's or misses but I couldn't seem to find the 10. I moved my sight over between rounds and shot better on the second round, but overall it was the worst I shot all year. What better place to shoot crappy than at the provincials. :hump:
Shane, have you run into that problem with tips coming out of your Gold tips? The guy that sold them to me said he used an epoxy that came with them, but he hadn'd sold them before so he doesn't know if there's been a problem with them or not. I would like to get it sorted out, I like the arrows but they don't fly very well with a gaping hole in front.
On the bright side, Wascana had a great course and they got lots of shooters. The weather co-operated pretty well, but the mosquitos were BAD.
It was a fun day of shooting, got to meet a few more great people and see some others that you only see at the shoots. As far as the bad shooting goes, every fool knows that you should have your bow shooting well BEFORE you go to the tournements so I really can't use that as an excuse. :nono:
Hope you got out to a shoot this weekend and did good.
