This buck was shot in Ontario and probably could have been the new world record or close to it but apperently the guy shot it after legal light. Not sure if its true or not. Does anyone else know anything about this deer?

I heard the same thaing. It was shot minutes after legal shooting time, the hunter got caught and the buck is in the hands of DNR. A dandy buck, thats fer sure.

I would take that chance and any respectible Warden would look the other way for this guy what's a few minutes when you are staring at that hog??????

That is one incredable rack!!! He has to have close to 60 inches in circumference measurements alone. I'd guess he will easy gross well over 200". To bad some poachers got him instead of a deserving hunter like us bowzone members lol :evil:

I read last night that a guy from Louisiana shot it a half hour after legal light and it sounded like he spotlighted it. He got scared and fled back to the states and left it and another deer at the campsite. It said it was green scored at 220 something gross and netted around 199 and change.

If the story is true and it was shot 1/2 hour after legal time then screw the hunter he deserves to loose it and more...maybe my size 11 up his rear end.

i couldn't have said that one better myself these people need to be prosecuted to the highest i have 2 friends that are c.o's and they are having a hard time catching guys who poach the more honest people rat out these guys they might get the hint
