I found this video this morning and it is excellent. I know alot of members have posted wondering about cutting their own deer meat. Enjoy.

for anyone that is nervous about butchering a deer. I did my first one this summer. It was very easy. I did it by myself while learning and it took me 3 hours to cut and trim and wrap a smaller mulie buck. I got a few pointers from a local butcher and read a how to book. this video is better than the book I had!

some good advice is get a good quality butchers knife and keep it real sharp. you can find a good butcher knife on ebay for as cheap as $15. I bought the same one Ive seen in many butcher shops, a Victorinox cimtar with a fibrox handle. I got it for $20.
