ok, here's some pics.
My parents went out and toured around tonight and took them. I grew up in Okotoks and was there for the flooding in 1995...

My farm is just west of high river. Seemed like the whole town was there at various spots last night filling sand bags. The river is over the train bridge now. Hopefully we filled enough bags to save some basements!!!!! They evacuated some houses yesterday with more on standyby........

Spent yesterday, last night and today sandbaggin just came in for lunch then goin back out. The waters not letting up much its pretty bad news. I would have to take a boat to get to some of my treestands on the north end of town and there probably not that high off the water right now.

Hope you and your family are ok Hubbard. Good luck with it...I was living east of Okotoks when the flood came through in 1995 and it was no where near as bad as this one.

Sorry for the long delay we dont have internet at home so when I hit the office and have a chance to get on I do. Your work is about 1 minute away. Would you be interested in coming out to shoot? I'm fairly new at the sport but do have a range setup for 20-30-40 yards.......Let me know I'll check back.
