I am interested in buying a Trophy Ridge Micro Matrix sight. Are they good or what? I hear a new Trophy Ridge sight coming out soon. Should I wait?

well we have sold a lot of trophy ridge sights.some guys find it a little hard to get used to the vertical pins.others that are used to the older style cross hair don,t mind them at all.as for new sights the next month or two we will see alot of new produtcs.myself i would wait see whats new and then decide.

I don't have the micro Matrix...I have the one with plastic pins....very similar anyways.

I really like that sight...very easy to sight in and adjust. Very bright pins also...I got the .029 size pins. It takes abit of getting used to it...the pins are all in one vertical line....so if you have one pin at the 10 meters, and the next pin at 20 meters...you won't be able to see the target between 11 and 19 meters.

I had no problem of the bolts coming loose....although alot of other archers say the bolts come loose. Some of them ended up using loc-tite on the bolts. They also suggest to use the allen bolts...don't use the dove tail bolts.

One thing to watch out for is to make sure you have fletching clearance....the fiber optics hang (loop) down under the sight bracket. I broke one of the optics when my cock feather hit it. I was using a 3 prong Bodoodle rest...one feather (vane) had to be in the up position.
