Hey Muddster,
I was a hard core fixed blade nut, untill I saw tha GKF Demon.
2 yrs ago Jackal put one through both shoulder blades on an elk.
The warden is now shooting them and has great results.
And I recovered all my critters this year.
The Rocket Steelhead is the same thing.
In testing this was the best penetrating broadhead, Fixed or mechanical.
check them out. good hunting.

I've been using Spitfires and can't complain, use the 3 blade 100grs.Killed two bull moose dead withem and a white tail. They stayed together and I got good penetration.

I'll say NAP Scorpion XPs. They performed flawlessly for me on a Quebec hunting trip I took this year.
They are the best of both worlds for me with a Cut on impact blade on an Expandable broadhead.

I use Vortex mini max 3's and I love them. They are one of the few Mech's that I have never heard anything bad about on any forum!

I use NAP spitfire 100 gr. mechanicals. They are awesome but I will be upgrading to the Scorpion XP's for their cut on contact tip.Should be a bit better for penetration.
