Ultimate hunting setup?

Hi,

Am interested in knowing what would be considered to be the ultimate set up for hunting (sights, arrows, broadheads, release). Am presently shooting a Mathews Ultramax with 65 lb draw weight (270 fps). Arrows are carbon express CX-3, 29" draw, 100 gr. mechanical broadheads (EXP 100?), pivot type (adjustable) sight. I know the question is quite broad but am looking for ways to improve my consistency. Hunt deer, elk and moose from both ground and tree stand. Would prefer a non-mechanical type of broadhead but want to duplicate my fieldpoint performance.

Hey Skullman

I just found my ultimate set up.

Martin will release the new bow called the SlayR.
This bow is 35 inch Axle to Axle
6 3/4 inch brace hieght
The new nitrous cam which is draw length adjustible and can be changed to a X-system(Shoot Through)
Supposed to be the most accurate speed bow on the market.

At a blistering 330+ IBO
(I am bias I shoot for martin)

And The Matrix Flatliner(5 pin) That sidewinder is pretty sweet too.
Good old 2213's with 3 inch vanes.
And I found that these little Ultimate steel's 100's flew almost as good as my field points.(Blades are alittle flimmsy though) 1 inch groups at 60 yrds

And on and on and on.

If your like me Skullman trying to make the ultimate set up is just as fun as shooting it.

Skullman for the broad heads, have a look at Slick Trick's they are a four blade broadhead that fly like fieldpoints. cdnarcher has done a test on them. Anybody local carry the Slick Tricks? Have some Gold Tip Gladiator Broadheads that have never been used - any experience with these?
