Hi Guys,

I bought a new 2005 Yamaha Bruin 4x4 back in September 2004. I outfitted it with a Kolpin Gunboot with a steel bracket, and found that it wobbles alot when going across a plain stubble field. Do you guys have any idea's that I could use to help secure the boot properly? I've tried a few bungee straps but I guess that don't help.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I also mounted an older gun boot on my Bruteforce and had the same problem. I went and bought a Koplin gun boot with the hard plastic mount where the gunboot just slides into place and is secured with two pins. this is very stable and there is very little vibration over rough terrain.
I hope this helps.

I looked into that kind of a bracket by Kolpin, but I met a few hunters that had nothing good to say about them because it didn't take long for them to get damaged. Therefore I went to a steel bracket. I don't know, maybe it doesn't hurt the gun when it wobbles hard? Anything to worry about??

I had that problem also with my holder and I drilled holes through the arm and right through my back frame on the bike and put a long bolt through and tightened with nut and locking washer..... it never moves now. :P :P
