Would 11/32 size arrow shafting be the correct size for a 60# recurve?

It all depends on the spine of the shaft...that is how stiff or weak the shaft is!!

No pine shafts. Looking at a few different ones. Hexshafts are one as well.

hex shaft are a good choice you should be fine with 11/32 but you may want to try 23/64.

If your going to be using 11/32 on a 60LB be warned they can split, but I agree with Moosemeat, go with a 23/46 you will have a more solid shaft

Spine trumps diameter. The diameter has nothing to do with the poundage of the bow.
Choose arrows by spine.

I agree with Petew, if you cant get splined shafts, then go a bigger diameter, like 22/32 or even a 3/8 is decent, ive been doing up some hard wood dowels that are 3/8 on a 60 long bow and they hold up well, self nocked and reinforced with string, just flimsy sewing thread mind you, but im thinking they will give at some point, play around, but be careful if non splined shafts go larger

Brad, Call Dennis at git-r-donearchery.com in Calgary and get some shafts. You are getting some bad advice here. Dennis will fix you up with properly spined shafts.

Actually i already bought some hexshafts in 23/64 that are spined for a 60# bow.
