I use hot melt to put inserts in, but have never heard of using any thing on the broadhead. I always just screw the broadheads into the insert.

I use a glue in glue on adapter, using the glue on broad heads, and i stupidly used epoxy on the broad heads, im looking to see if i can separate them, i was told burn it out, but it could cause either to fire off explosively and cause damage, also can weaken the broad heads

I dont quite understand what you mean when you say glue in glue on ? If you want to take the inserts out of the shaft, remove the nock and find a drill bit that just fits in the shaft , and put the flat end of the drill bit in the shaft, and with a whiping motion { in a safe direction } so the drill bit will slide down the inside of the shaft and hit the back end of the insert/broadhead and the force will break the bond of the glue , you might have to do it a couple of times to break the bond. Then once removed, you can heat the insert to get your broadhead off. Hope this helps. If not post some pics so I can see it.

Try Black Lock Tite it will release when you put your broadhead into boiling water.

I stupidly used 5 min LePage Epoxy and i would like to break the bond between the broadhead and the adapter, so i can attach my points instead, i lost 6 arrows, all brass bullet point heads, shooting small game, i didnt have any grasshoppers or judo points, i used a bullet point and tired a string on the end of the arrow, it worked well, but the string was not strong enough, any advice on how to break the bond?? or is it impossible, im between work and moneys tight so i cannot buy new adapters :(

Ok , first you have to take the insert and broadhead out of the shaft . do like I said above using a drill bit. After you have it out you will need some way of holding the broadhead secure like in a vice or tap it into a soft peace of wood then heat the brass insert with a butane or propane torch , for maybe 10 seconds [ the brass will heat fast ] and grab the insert with a pair of vice grips and wiggle and try to break the bond , keep doing this till you get it free . [ dont squeeze to tight or you will crush the brass it is soft ! ! ! ] I wouldnt worry about taking the temper out of the broadhead, your not going to get that hot and just stand off to the side while heating the insert , it may pop but not likley so wear some safty glasses just in case.

Ok thanks man, i was told earlier to burn it out, and i used my spare adapter, it was warped, came like it and i epoxied a steel bellet point to it, let it set up for a week, and put it into a small wood fire, never again, the adapter shot out of the point, the point flattened to the size od 5 washers stacked, it was funny LOL< but the adapter stuck into a tree....... body armor needed i thinks LOL, but putting the head in a vise and heating it with torch should be best, i got a small butane soldering torch, it heats up pretty good, ill try that because i dont have a propane torch anymore LOL, dad tries to make the flame bigger by taking out the venturi oxidizer near the mouth of the torch and all it does is poof now, i threw it out after he did, thanks you soo much for your help DXTCLUE, im going to epoxy the adapters to the shafts and hot melt the broad heads to the adapters, if all works out
