Hey guys I'm new to this site, lookin at getting a new bow. Shooting a 20 year old (ish) HOYT right now. Any suggestions would be awesome.

Wow! There's a loaded question... You'll get as many suggestions as there are bow manufacturers / bow models....

Where do you live? Someone close to you will suggest an archery shop; that's probably your best bet - go visit your local archery shop and try them out and get fitted for a bow....

All the bows nowadays can outshoot any archer; it all comes down to personal preference.

Agreeing with jc on this one. See your local shop and test drive the bows they have there. Its always better to have a bow properly fitted for you by the local archery shop. The warranty and service should be worth a few a bucks.

shoot as many bows as possible... theres really no bad bows on the market only ones that don't fit you or don't feel right in the hands

Yup...like everyone else said, shoot as many bows as you can get your hands on and let the bow choose you.
