Lethbridge Iron man

I have shot several outdoor 3D shoots over the past 10-15 Yrs. but never really got to an indoor shoot . How is a course layed out indoors, what sort of distances would you see at the Lethbridge shoot. Is the scoring system the same. I have found Lethbridge to have some excellent outdoor shooters , what would be considered a good score for the indoor crowd. I shoot my hunting setup all year,would I be surrounded by hi-tech target bows in an indoor shoot like the Iron man. I'm intrested in practice and competing with myself mostly but still would hope to do Ok . Anyone able to give me an idea of what the Lethbridge indoor shoots are like. I think I'll try to make it in for at least 1 day anyone know how many shooters it should draw.

Hey Tyee if you have not been to indoor shoots you need to give it a try .The Ironman is a great shoot becuase you can shoot Fita or 3-d or both if your up for it .Anyway they had 130 shooters last year and are expecting about 150 this year. The tourament is the Provincails and there is a 1arrow shot for $1000 included in your entry.You will see shots out to 45 yard most around th 33 to 35 yard range. Hope to see ya there ..

Thanks for the reply, Jackal when you mentioned the Provincials what is actually taking place. Is it safe to assume this shoot is open to anyone and that there would be a class for hunting setups. I don't mind A BIT of laughing and teasing when I shoot ,how serious are these guys . I like to do well but I'm not that serious. I'm not sure what FITA is all about have only shot foam in the past. Do they shoot in flights or groups is only going the one day a big deal. Merry Christmas to ALL

Hey Tyee! The IronMan is the FIRST 3-D tournament that I ever shot at. So, you'll be more than welcome down there.

The BowZone pro-staff will be down there in force, so make sure you look for us! We'll be sponsoring the shoot with a ton of prizes and hopefully will be able to shoot the tourney as well.

There is a class for hunting set ups - Male Bow Hunter or MBH so no problem with you entering!
