Does anyone know what the Safari Club world record bobcat scores. A friend of mine just measured one at over 9" and was wondering what the record was.

The current SCI world record is 10 6/16" it was harvested in Hondo Texas in October of 1992. I believe several bobs have been taken in southern Alberta that have come close +10.
Nine plus is a great cat. 6 makes the SCI book with archery and 7 with other weapons. Was this cat taken with a bow and in Alberta?
I sent you a second pm on taxidermy did you get it?

Thanks PSEArcher, The cat is from NB and I beleive it was shot by an American, A friend of mine somehow ended up with the skull. Since there is no season for hunting cats in NB it was shot illegally. Puzzles me why a guy would do that. I wonder what happened to the hide.
Yes I did get your PM and I will get back to you soon.
