I just wanted to publicly thank and endorse Allan at WBS.
I'm new to the archery game and doing my best to digest as much information as I can. I drove out to Leader today to meet Al and have him install a new string and cables on my Alpha Max. He was very generous with his bow tuning advice and I felt that even though I was a rookie, he was more than helpful in answering all of my question through out the installation/tuning process.
To top it off we went to draw my bow and adjust my peep height and got to talking about the possibility of my bow being possibly under drawn for my body. Al told me to hang on a sec while he made a phone call. Well long story short five minutes later he had a world champion target shooter (sorry his name escapes me now) in the shop with us critiquing my form and giving me advice. Apparently they are pal's and Al knew they happened to be hunting muleys in the area and put the call out for another opinion.
Al, the target shooting fellow, and Al Mitchell from Battleford Bait and Tackle were all kind enough to take the time out of their day to give me some really helpful advice as far as my form, my equipment, and the mental aspect of shooting.
I can't thank you guys enough for the help. As a newcomer to the archery game, it was great to come across such great ambassadors for the sport. I couldn't wait to get home and shoot my bag.
Oh yeah, and the new strings look super.
Kevin Wall.
