I spoke to a Conservation officer earlier this fall, about a change in the closing date for the foothills archery Mule deer season. In years past the archery season ended Oct. 31/04, this year it closed Oct. 24/04 . I asked the C.O. if that was a mistake, he said a mistake was made because Whitetail and Moose should have also been moved to Oct. 24 . Seems to me that we are loosing a week of Bowhunting and I have asked our Wildlife branch and can not find out why the change was needed. Does anyone have any info. as to why or how to lobby against the changes. :roll:
