This buck was taken around the Robb area and was my first bow kill. I could'nt do it without the help and advise from everyone here on Bowzone.
Thanks so much for all your help.

Yellowtrout,
Well, it was in the 438 area, just south of Robb. I was lucky enough to harvest this buck at the end of August, a week after bow season opened. I seen about 5 other bucks since then, each 4 points and one 4 x 5. The one in the picture is actually a 5 x 5 but you cant see the other point on the right hand side.

Still trying for my doe. Have seen a bunch but not willing to take the shot, not comfortable yet with a 30yd shot. The buck I did get was 18yd.
Thanks

Great looking buck Sledder! There should be some fine eating from him. What is your setup? How about some details of the hunt - maybe a story??

Way to go Sledder. I imagine he's all ate up by now.

I too just began bowhunting this past fall (not hunting per se) mainly flinging arrows at hay bails at the moment. I am looking into getting a new bow as my current PSE Lightning flite lost the aluminum sleeve that holds the stabilizer and cable guard. I plan on focusing my bowhunting on the big woods bucks back home and ambushing elk, hopefully i will be as successful as you.
