Wondering if anyone would be interested in a Fallow Deer Shoot that our new archery club is using as a fund raiser.
Here are the details:
We have a game farmer that is allowing us to cull out some of his older herd sires.
We have 6 bucks ranging in age from 5-7 years old.
These are some great looking bucks and this is a fenced shoot. NOT A HUNT!
You will get keep the meat, horns and hide.
They make a great and very unique mount.
The game farmer sells these animals to a game farm in Texas where these bucks fetch about $5000.00 per shoot.
We are selling tickets and will draw for one buck for every 100 tickets sold!
The cost of a ticket is $50.00
You can shoot from mid Oct until mid Dec. All shoots are guided and can be spot and stalk, ground blind, or tree stand. while these deer are in a fenced area, they are not tame and will not just stand there waiting to be shot.
The game farm is located in central Saskatchewan and all travel and accomidations would be the winners responsability.
Post or PM questions.
This thread is not intended to debait the morals of high fence shoots.
These bucks will be culled as part of herd management whether or not we are involved.
This is simply a fund raiser to try and get our club up and running.
