Can anyone help me with this question. I got a draw for Antlerless Mule Deer in 310, I have been told that I can still buy a General Mule Deer tag for Archery season as long as I do not shoot a doe. Another person said that I am only allowed to hunt my doe tag. Need help as this is the first year I am hunting in archery season.
Im thinking you shoot whatever general archery season offers and use your draw tag during archery season as well. Wouldn't hurt to call.

Thanks for the feed back. I called today and got transffered to three different people and was only told that I can use my draw tag in my zone during bow season. They had no clue about the general tag for archery.

I had this same situation a couple of years ago.... If you read the regs, it states QUOTE "A resident adult may obtain only 1 of the first 2 licenses."; the first 2 being Mule Deer and Antlered Mule Deer Special License...
Being as how you got drawn for a Mule Doe (and not Antlered Mule Deer like I did this year), the system still allowed you to buy a general Mule Deer tag; so go hunt hard for the buck under your general tag, and reserve your Mule Doe for later....
I was drawn for a Mule Buck this year. I tried to buy a general tag first, but the system knew that I had been drawn for an Antlered Mule Deer, so refused my purchase of a general.... But 2 years ago, I was drawn for a Mule Doe and still bought a general tag and hunted in archery hard for a buck (never paid off though)
