Grand Opening Cabela's

That'll be the day Cabela's opens it's doors here in Edmonton, Alberta. Always wondered why they never opened there doors here earlier. Should have some great hunting specials as usual. Stock up guys, season is fast approaching. Hope I have this in the right location. Sorry if I'm wrong . It's on the Terwilliger turn off, off the Anthony Henday west side of the Henday!!

Now I know how you got in a day early. Did you like the store and there prices? I still haven't made it there yet,maybe this week.

Disliked the store.... well, its no different than wholesale... and about the size as the southside one.

Definitely was disappointed, hope for something somewhat close to Bass pro set up..... prices were comparable to everywhere else....

I think this is the key really. There is a LOT more in stock at Cabelas. It was pretty well known the store was not a super store size like BPS so I was not upset at the size. i think it is bigger than Wholesale South but not by a ton. I found the staff to be a LOT more friendly and helpful overall at Cabelas though. Time will tell if that continues of course.

I found a number of things cheaper than Wholesale but I guess it all depends what you are looking for.

I wasn't disappointed in the store and I will be back.

It was bigger but not by much, like pep said the staff were a lot more knowledgeable than WHolesale too. There prices were quite a bit cheaper too on some things I saw. Very comparable to there online store out of the states too. They had so much more stack and there continuing to bring in more as they were missing a lot of stock that was supposed to be here for the opening. I'll definately be back.
