The importance of listening and respecting a landowners wishes when you ar
e hunting I just found out last weekend ..and this is how the story goes.I was out scouting for elk in the afternoon when i came across some good food and great tracks to it.I drove around a bit more and returned to that spot to find the land owner leaving the property so i followed him home to ask the question .Being that my father in law knew this man I let him do the talking and when we did my introduction we asked .The land owner said no with exsplaination ...He had let hunters on his land for 50+ years and had no problem with it until two years ago when he let a couple of!#$%! guys in there but told them that there were two pet moose in there that he could apparently feed from his hand and they were not to shoot them well low and behold they did it anyway so NO MORE HUNTING .I went back to the spot were the tracks were and there in the field feeding were a heard of 22 elk 3 three point and 1 six the rest being cows so hunters please respect the landowner they hold the key to alot of great hunting.

That's why it so important to be ethical when you hunt. Follow the rules, cuz if you don't....you ruin it for the rest of us. And this just doesn't stop after you take an animal.

Here's a few articles we have on here to help you.
