Has anyone got any experiences with using FOB's instead of fletching. What kind of arrow rest do they use?

I do not shoot FOBs but I beleive if you wanna that you must shoot a drop away style rest in order to get the clearance.
Definitely could not shoot anything like a whisker biscuit. LOL!!!

i was shooting a wb with blazers, then went to a dropaway and tried out fobs. at 30-40 yards they seem to drop about 3-4 inches compared to my same arrows with 2in blazers. been hearing so many good things about them so had to try. but will be sticking with my blazers fer sure. i was shooting them on gt ultralites and veloticity hunters 300 spine out of a hoyt alphaburner 29/70...

I shot FOBS for the last year.
I found they dropped alot compared to blazers, also they would snag on every twig as i stalked through the bush often pulling the arrow out of the quiver or pulling the FOB off. Also, they sat in my quiver during transport and would become oval from periods of laying flat or having something on top of them.....
In addition, on three occasions I shot half my index finger down range. Make sure you have plenty of room between your grip and the plastic FOB or you will bleed out like I almost did.

Well good luck to you. The people at Starrflight were awesome to deal with.
They had answers for all questions that I had and also had solutions.
Of all the negative things, the FOB getting caught on twigs as I walked through the bush was the worst........check that.....shooting half my finger off was!
Good luck hunting.
