3d Shoot Schedule

All three ABA Sanctioned shoots have been finalized.
Whitecourt June 12th & 13th
Jack's Place (Bighorn) June 18th & 19th
Parkland June 25th & 26th

I also attached a Outdoor shoot schedule that Jude started. I added a couple of shoots. Please check it out.

I've added more info in the attachement so please check once and awhile for updates etc.

Just thought I would let everyone know that Sherwood Park Archery Club isn't planning to have any 3D's shoots this year as they currently do not have a 3D Director. Hopefully, a club member will take the job on and then they may put on some shoots in the furture.

I am thinking of going to the Bighorn shoot, if I dont end up working,,,, do you need to go to both days???? I am an ABAmember,,,, want to bring my son for the shoot , he is not a member, is that ok???

Why not get your son a membership? If he is or will become a hunter it is a good opportunity to get him involved early; every member helps and he may get a kick out of entering his harvests with the ABA. Even better, bring him to the annual banquet as well and he may be able to see his name and picture "in lights"!

Anyways, on to the shooting questions;

I took Brent's name and number from the schedule above; it would be best to contact him about the particulars surrounding shooting both days or only one.
We are hosting another of the ABA shoots in Whitecourt on June 11th and 12th so I can let you know that at our shoot we definately allow non ABA members to participate and they are eligible for the same recognition and prizes at the shoot as ABA members; the only thing that they aren't eligible for is the provincial ranking which follows the completion of the three provincial shoots. ABA members who have attended the provincial shoots have their best two finishes compared with other ABA members combined to determine overall rankings. The top three finishers in each catergory are then awarded plaques at the annual ABA banquet.
We will also be allowing shooters to attend both days, Saturday only, and Sunday only; only those shooting both days or all three rounds are eligible for door prizes though.

Hope you can make it out to shoot, support the ABA, and most importantly have some fun!

You can also visit the ABA website @ www.bowhunters.ca for more information on what the 3d program is doing. The 3d schedule is there along with 3d commitee minutes.
