I guess no matter how much experience you have in the bush and how much time you have spent "studing" large critters or hunting for that matter. When your time is up, your time is up.

How many times have you had to walk backwards as you filled your pants keeping your eye on that grizzly? twice for me.

i am surprised that a person who ventures deep in the wild wouldnt have a firearm with him for protection ...hmmm?
