Hi guys.
I have a Browning Wasp recurve that I love to shoot.
I was thinking about adding a 3-pin sight to it to help improve shooting at different distances.
The only sight I have on hand is a Cobra sight off an old compound I used to have.
I can only mount this sight above the rest on the right side of the bow (RH bow).

Before I drill any holes, I was hoping to get some input from you guys on adding this sight.
Other ideas or sights available?

i have been wondering the same thing, i dont really want to drill holes in my riser so i am taking a long time to make the decision.

I would suggest getting another riser that is predrilled before drilling into one that is not drilled allready. you could and will possibly weaken the structure of the bow and it could end up breaking and hurting yourself or someone beside you

If you realy want a sight it can be done, but as soon as you drill a hole, or add a screw you made the bow worth 50 bucks at best.

Good points gentlemen. I was hesitant to modify the bow as I didn't want to take away from the looks of it. I think adding this sight would made it look cheap. I have seen a few sights designed for recurves that mount vertically on the shooter's side of the window. They are generally smaller and don't look so out-of-place.
I think I'll start with finding copies of Masters of the Barebow volumes 1, 2 and 3 on dvd and learn more about proper aiming techniques before doing anything drastic to my bow.

Thanks.

more practice for me without the sights, it seems to be coming together
