Does anyone have any pictures of how to hold the bow, and also the position to have the rest of your arm? Sorry for the stupid question but I am trying to learn the proper method of shooting.
Thanks.

Hey bigralphy

I've been lookin over the net for you and I am having a hard time finding pictures of the proper hand position, but if you look at my or Jackals Avatars you'll see what your bow arm should look like more or less.

If you go on archery talk, PSE forum or any large forum and you do a search on "Form" you will get to lots of posts with pictures of users holding their bow asking for comments. It would be a good place to start.

Why don't you post your own pictures on this forum here...

The picture is just excellent. He is only holding the bow with one finger. Buy a wrist sling if you grab and then don't grab.

Some of the Champion bows had very large handles. Note in the picture that this guy took the handles off and is shooting off the riser.

Good luck.

Sniper gave me a great tip for getting a repeatable hand position on the bow. Remove the grip, or go with side plates only and tape a length of mechanics wire down the back of the riser at the handle. The wire will give you a reference for your hand and if you place your hand in the wrong position you will know right away as the wire will create pressure on your hand where you are not used to it. Repeatable hand position is one of the most important aspects of form. If you change your hand position from shot to shot, you will never be as accurate as you can be.
