Hey,
I don't bowhunt yet but I was thinking about getting into it. Does any one have any suggestions about purchasing my first bow? I don't want a beginner bow to start with and 6 months down the road have to buy another.

Welcome to bowzone ricky.

A couple of bows you might consider as a great starter bow, would be

1. The Hoyt ultra sport ,Starts at a great price (bout 400+) and it will grow with you for some time.

2. The Martin Phantom, again good price (bout 400+) and it will also grow with you.

3. The AR 34 or the AR 37 ,This is the most expensive of the three, but it's a pretty good bow that you will be able to shoot for some time.
