Spent yesteday in 304 and in 305 looking for Mullies and Elk. I saw over 40 Mulies in one field, no hunting sign posted, ARGH! stalked two mulie doe's in another but they were with young fawns so passed e'm. Went to 305 saw a cow elk charge past me at mach 2 about 60 yard away scared the hell out of me waited to see what else might come out behind her...WIND, WIND, WIND.
I talked to a few guys on horse back they saw nothing, elk. Bumped into three bow hunters walking the roads?? they said they saw a BIG cougar in the top of 305 about 40 yeards away watching them, eich! must have been calling Elk pretty good.
