I'm curious to know if anyone else has had a problem with their carbon arrows coming lose and/or falling out of their bow quivers? My quiver holds the alumimum arrows fine but since I have changed to carbon arrows it is not holding them tightly enough. When practicing with a full quiver it is not uncommon for one or two or more too come lose and even fall out. It could have something to do with the foam at the top end as well I suppose as I have never changed it. Does anyone have any fixes? I've tried elec. tape which tends too leave a little sticky film on the arrow occasionally and I've tried gluing a small piece of tire inner tube to it but it is too thick. Maybe it's just me........................

I had the same problem. I was shooting 2312's and they stretched the rubber that holds the arrows. The cure is to go to an archery shope and purchase the proper rubber holders for carbon arrow. Most of the new quivers come with two sets of rubbers, one for aluminum and one for carbon. That is the only true fix that I know of.

I was thinking that might be the case but because I live in a rural area and don't know any other bow hunter's in the area ( I know they are here though) I put this question out hoping I'd get this kind of reply. Appreciate it.
Thanks, Ron

Moosecutter - I just switched to carbon arrows this year along with a new bow and I have had no problems with my quiver. When I first brought the gear home I was worried that my old quiver (Kwik-3) was not going to be able to hold these arrows becuase they're so much more slim - but the fit is snug and a little easier to pull than was the aluminum arrows I had. You could always try to line the rubber slots with some sticky fleece like on the arm rest - that may make your quiver snug enough?

Thanks for the reply/advise. I'll have to wait until I get back to civilization where I can check some of these things out. Currently working up north in the bush.

I went to the cat quiver. The arrows hold excellent and I don't have the attached quiver on my bow any more. Plus with the little storage compartment on the quiver it holds all necessary equipment for those morning and evening hunts without being weighed down by a back pack.
