OK every hunt is diff but I ask you when is the best time too draw your bow on a critter????? Senario you are in a treestand and there is shooting lanes @ 10,12,2 o'clock the deer is going from rite too left do you wait till it is in the rite lane for most comfortable too shot or just fastest opening????? Olso mor important do you draw when the deer is in the middle of the shooting lane or as it's head (eyes) are in line with the last tree B4 the shooting lane as not too see your movement?????

Last season I had a whity doe and as she was in line with the last tree I drew back figuring she would not see me and continue on too the shooting lane but she froze solid and I held the bow for as long as I could hoping she would move out and she didn't so after i blew that opertunity I sat and thought if I did wait till she was out in the open if she seen me draw and froze Perfect meet in the freezer butif she see's me draw would she have bolted??????

Just wonder what works for all you guys at what point doo you pull back????? Also I have been having dreams of this upcomming season so talking about a hunt is theropy :hump:

That sounds exactly like my treestand setup. Last year I had a doe come in as well. I was able to draw slowly as she was looking at me. Dont ask me why she didnt run, but I think good camo is what helped me draw. If the animal steps behind a tree thats when I would normally draw, but I had to try last year at this doe because she would not move. Turns out I was able to draw to full and commit to the shot. 2 lungs and the heart, not bad for my first bowhunting kill.
