Can somebody clarify the regulation for what firearm is allowed for waterfowl.
Is archery allowed or not?
The reg's do not state allowed or not and waterfowl are federal not provincal

these were copied from Alberta hunting Regs

"hunt a migratory game bird with a firearm loaded with a single bullet.
hunt any game bird using
a shotgun in which the magazine and chamber combined will hold more than three rounds of ammunition,
a trap, or
bait. "

"hunt migratory game birds with a firearm loaded with a single bullet.
use shotgun shells containing lead pellets for waterfowl. "

archery is allowed.

can you tell me where to look in the regs, when i lived in ontario the MNR would fine you for hunting migratory birds with anything other than a shotgun, I can not find anything that says you can or can not hunt with archery equipment for migratory birds, as the federal government controls the issue of licences, not provincal,
if it is written somewhere other than word of mouth
