I'm unable to see the sight ring on my tru-glo sight, through my peep sight. I've tried different sizes of peeps. my sight is as far forward as it can go. my anchor point is solid,my form is decent, and as far as i know my setup is close. not sure where to go from here, any and all suggestions would be great. thanks!!:sos:

The peep location on your bow is unique to you. Everyone anchors differently and therefore you need to align your peep sight to fit you. If your peep sight is in the right location you should be able to close your eyes, draw your bow to anchor, open your eyes and be looking automatically through the peep at your pins. If not, your peep is in the wrong spot on your string or not aligned properly.

Are you using fingers or a release? If you are a fingers shooter or a release off of your string, you probably need a peep with a tube attached to align the peep. If you are using a release with a D loop then a peep without a tube can be used provided the D loop is properly installed.

Something else to consider, not all peeps will work on all bows. Bow length and draw length change the angle of the string which can cause problems.

Hope this helps.

Have you tried different peep sizes? It may take a few tries, but this should help. It may be easier to diagnose the problem if we had a picture of you at full draw looking through the peep to see where your eye is in relation to your string.

Good luck.

another thing to consider is short ATA and long drawlengths will put the peep farther from your eye. you might need to go with a 1/4" peep. G5 even makes a 5/16" model.
