Are there many differences between an expensive bow and a cheap bow? Is there a difference in accuarcy and ease of shooting, or is it mainly a difference in quietness and reliability? The bow I shoot cost me $270 CND and I am having trouble shooting it. If I was to have purchased a more expensive bow, would it be easier to set up and shoot?

I truly believe that there is a definite difference in the ease of shooting between a cheap bow and a more expensive one. I was shooting my son's Champion, and don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with Champion, and found it clumbsy. He thought it was a great bow until I bought him a Bowtech VFT. He said the difference was like night and day. For the most part, you really do get what you pay for, especially when it come to archery equipment. In my opinion you should get the best bow that your budget will allow. My personal preference is my AR34 solo cam. I also have a High Country 4 Runner that I use for hunting. Both are very nice bows, but the AR has the edge in my opinion.
Have you taken the bow to a pro shop to make sure your draw length is right. You may be trying to pull more poundage than you should. Are you new to archery and if so maybe a few pointers from the pro shop may help you shoot the bow you already have. Just a few suggestions.

I dont believe price is a factor, I have a 250$ reflex and a 700$ hoyt, they are both great bows. the xtec is better but I wouldn`t say theres a night and day difference, I got it for slightly better construction, a little more speed and increased draw weight.
