Hey just wondering if there is a possibility of including Wild Turkey on the species list as I saw someone else had asked the question in the general contest thread. I would like to see it added to the list as well.

The problem of adding every species into the contest is that it becomes a complete nightmare at the end for the person keeping track. I think that everything should be kept as is for this year. If we keep adding animals it is not going to be much fun to try to keep score, a couple guys want turkey, a couple guys want rabbits, a couple more want grouse, etc etc etc . Before long it is job and no one is having fun keeping scores and the contest will not happen without the people behind it making it work, if they dont have fun also.

Yes a record keeping nightmare I am sure.... hey I ran over the remains of a deer this morn with the truck on the highway. If I had hopped out and snapped a picture with bow in hand could I count it???

I know alittle desperate for this early in the contest eh?

The species list is final for this contest. It has taken me many, many hours to plan, administer, find sponsors, upkeep this scores and standings on a daily basis. I do this by myself, with help from no one. In the future, if you want to see changes, please let me know before the contest starts and I will try to accomodate requests.
