My new sheep huntin buddy

We have a new addition to our family, and he will be going sheep hunting with me very soon. His name is Blackjack, and he is going to save my sorry ass from all that heavy packin in the high country. We have a few horses in the family, but they are way to much work while in the high country.

I have been workin with him as much as possible lately.

Llamas make excellent pack animals. Make sure you work with it alot though, as they can be fairly stubborn.

I ran into a couple guys down in 400 a few years back that were using llamas as pack animals,they had three of them.They were going up into Blue Lake looking for sheep.I had just been in there the day before and saw a huge grizzly just off the trail.I quipped at these guys that the llamas would be good bait for that bear,they didn't think it was too funny. :roll:.They came out two days later because of that bear.

It is my friend Corys driveway, and yes I will be setting up a tree stand along this driveway for deer very soon :lol: . He has about 50 acres just south of Calgary. He has about 60 llamas in total.

God, I hope I dont start pushing out kids anytime soon :shock:. I will leave that for the lady in my life :lol:.
