I agree with what the article says about movement and we've all been busted by smell!

I've gotten into the habit of crouching down when a deer sees me and I don't have a shot. Deer quickly recognize a human outline. A slowly moving camo blob they can't figure out and will sometimes come closer to investigate - good reason to practice shooting from one knee!
