Fake Cop on the Prowl and Stopping women on deserted stretches of roads !
Important- THIS IS NOT A HOAX
Please read the following it is not a hoax....it happened in our area... in the just Last Saturday!
PLEASE READ this and pass it on to everyone you know...
On Saturday night, Oct. 18, Lindsay, age 19 left her home in Bayview, Washington to meet her boyfriend.
She was driving down Josh Wilson Road in Burlington, Washington; when suddenly a police car appeared
out of nowhere and pulled her over.
Lindsay only rolled her window down a couple of inches because she Just didn't feel "right" about the whole thing.
The cop asked her if she knew what she'd done wrong and she said no, because she knew that she hadn't done anything
wrong. The cop told her that she had been speeding.
She argued with him because she knew that she hadn't been speeding. The cop proceeded to get angry with her,
and started yelling at her. He told her to get out of the car and she said no! He also yelled at her to roll down
her window all the way, again she said no.
He finally told her that if she wouldn't cooperate then he was going to have to call for backup
and "they would MAKE her get out of her car"!
She told him that she would LIKE him to call for backup.
Lindsay watched him walk back to his car and get on a cell phone (not a radio)...that made her even more suspicious.
She then started noticing the way his car looked which was dirty and had no license plate.
Also, there was a red and white bar on top of the car...but, she realized later there was no blue in the light. After
realizing all this, she became too suspicious and she took off. The "cop" did not chase her!
She went to the State Patrol Office on Chuckanut Drive, and told her story...
they confirmed that the person that pulled her over WAS NOT A COP!
This was on all of the news channels tonight (10/28/03) and they were warning everyone to be careful and to watch out
for this kind of situation. The Police in 3 counties are on the lookout for this vehicle.
Never open your windows or car doors to a Police Officer unless you Know for a fact that he is indeed a real Police Officer!
When in doubt, ask for a Photo Identification badge, then if still in doubt;
Ask him to call for another Uniformed Police Officer in a Marked Police Car to come to where you are!
If he does not want to comply use your Cell Phone to call 911 and then you ask for assistance!
Tell them what is happening and what your concerns are. The Police Will handle the situation Properly!
For More Information go to any TV station Internet web site kingtv.com ; komotv.com or call your local radio stations!
Again, This Is Not A Hoax! It Did Happen on Saturday, Oct. 25th, 2003!
Be Safe!
