The last few mornings here in southern Alberta have been cool, and man o man, it feels like hunting season. Just about got everything ready. I can't wait! How about you.

I'm loving it. The mornings are colder and it is cooling down a lot more in the evenings. The hunting hormones are starting to kick in big time. We get to start bear hunting next week so will be getting out in the evenings as much as possible. Not long till deer and moose get going. Got lots of different hunts planned for this fall.

Hunting Hormones ...... ya yer right..... on my way to work this morning I seen a huge Mule Buck .....I think its the same one I have seen the past 2 years ....but this is the earliest hes moved in to this spot (land where no huntin is allowed and he could see ya comin before you can see him)
this boy is big ...typical too ...big growth ...like there is no stress in his life at all ....I am gonna try to get some pics of him here soon ...but Cameras arent really allowed where he hangs out ...... Most on this board know where I work and can appreaciate that
oh there it is again .....that Itch

I can't believe it i went quading today and i found an elk scrape in the middle of a cutline he must be practicing for what is just around the corner. I thought it's little early for them to start but there is always one early bird out there. I can hardly wait for bow season to start that gets the old juices flowing. I stuck up a trail camera down the cut line at a water hole hope i get a picture of him. I'm more than ready after seeing that sign...
